Amy Melki

Amy Melki is currently pursuing a B.A. in multimedia journalism at the Lebanese American University in Beirut, Lebanon. She is a proud Lebanese citizen and loves her country despite the chaos and corruption for which Lebanon is infamously known. Amy regularly volunteers with a local Lebanese NGO called Heart for Lebanon that works with Syrian and Iraqi refugees. She is a traveler who loves to discover new places and try new foods. Amy was part of an exchange program for international students at the Danish School of Media and Journalism last fall semester. Amy is fluent in Arabic and English, and also knowledgeable in French. After graduation, Amy plans to work on a Master's degree, possibly in the field of journalism or something related to government.
