Seema Khan

Board member, MTA Holdings; entrepreneur, investor and government advisor; founding member, EY Global Women in Business Advisory Council

Seema A. Khan is a board member of MTA Holdings and is responsible for the buildup of new business lines, diversification and global investment. Ms. Khan's experience spans multi-sectors and across several countries. After obtaining her law degree, Ms. Khan began in the New York City tech scene, working as's General Counsel. Her startup portfolio includes early investment in The 99, and in Vasathi Housing. In the US, Ms. Khan sits on the board of Aquasciences and is a founder and board member of Astrolabe Enterprises. In Saudi Arabia, Ms. Khan co-founded 9over10 and is a board member of Alf Khair. She is also a board member of the American Business Group of Riyadh, and sits on several advisory boards, including the Advisory Board for the East-West Institute and Alfaisal University's College of Business. Ms. Khan is perhaps most well-known for her significant contributions to the government of Saudi Arabia. For more than ten years, Ms. Khan was a senior leader in the Saudi Arabia General Investment Authority (SAGIA), and later became the Senior Advisor and Chief Strategy Officer to SAGIA. In her current role as Senior Advisor to the Vice President of the General Sports Authority, Ms. Khan is developing an inclusive, gender-neutral diversity-based approach to the build-out of a sports economy, a greenfield sector in Saudi Arabia. Ms. Khan is a founding member of the EY Global Women in Business Advisory Council. A New York Bar admitted lawyer, Ms. Khan holds a B.A. from the American University, Washington, DC, a J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology, and a Parker School Certificate from Columbia Law School.
