Lynna Chandra

Rachel House pediatric palliative care service, Jakarta Barat, Indonesia

After 15 years in the investment banking industry, Lynna Chandra founded Rachel House in 2006 to pioneer pediatric palliative care service in Indonesia. In a little over a decade, the organization has delivered palliative care to over 2600 children and their families, and provided palliative care training to over 6000 medical professionals and community members. In late 2016, Lynna stepped down from her day-to-day role at Rachel House to embark on a new journey in search of an equitable healthcare model that provides quality care - putting patients' wellbeing at the center of its mission - in an economically sustainable way, affordable and accessible for all. Passionate about poverty alleviation, Lynna co-founded Absolute Impact Partners in 2011 to help champion equal access to essential services and equal opportunities for all. AIP is currently active in Indonesia and Myanmar. Lynna is an Ashoka Fellow and The Equity Initiative Fellow. She serves on the boards of Assisi Hospice (Singapore), ICPCN (International Children's Palliative Care Network), and Bamboo Capital Management - a leading impact investment private equity firm.
