Sherri Bealkowski is general manager of the Education Solutions Group of Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, Washington, USA, where she is responsible for sales, marketing, and services for the education sector in the United States. Before coming to Microsoft, Mrs. Bealkowski held a variety of management, product development, sales, and channel management positions at IBM Corporation in Boca Raton, Florida and Austin, Texas. She worked as a consultant for Citrix Systems, and was an instructor and then manager of the Business Training Center at Palm Beach Community College, Florida. Prior to her role in education at Microsoft, Mrs. Bealkowski served the company as director of worldwide sales business planning, and general manager of the Field Communications and Strategy team. In 2003 she became a board member of WebCampus, a collection of graduate programs offered online by the Stevens Institute of Technology. Mrs. Bealkowski earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, and an M.S. in computer science, and an M.B.A. from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton.
