Lauren Rossi is a cultural producer and consultant working to fortify artists, artist-run projects and small arts organizations. She has spent 15+ years as an arts organizer and administrator, and four years providing direct support to individual artists in Detroit full-time. Lauren is dedicated to supporting LGBTQI+, BIPOC, and womxn artists. She has organized and led over 50 workshops to empower the practices of hundreds of creative practitioners throughout Southeast Michigan and beyond. Lauren has worked for the Detroit Design Festival, the University of Michigan Museum of Art (UMMA), the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD), and renowned interdisciplinary artist Tiff Massey. She is the founder of Seraphine Collective, a network of women/femme/nonbinary musicians & DJs cultivating creative liberation and camaraderie within Detroit's music scene, and was Co-Curator of Arts & Culture for re:publica Detroit (2019). Lauren received a B.F.A. in fine arts and art history from Eastern Michigan University.
