Danika Barry is a healthcare improvement fellow with the USAID ASSIST Project and the Quality & Performance Institute (QPI) at University Research Company, LLC. Danika works closely with Dr. M. Rashad Massoud, Director of the USAID ASSIST Project and QPI Senior Vice President, to provide technical assistance and management for a large global health portfolio aimed at strengthening health systems and advancing the science of healthcare improvement in low- and middle-income countries. Previously, she was Senior Research Project Manager for the Maternal and Newborn Health in Ethiopia Partnership (MaNHEP), which was led by the Ethiopian Federal Ministry of Health and Emory University, and funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Danika has experience working on programs in South Asia and sub-Saharan Africa to improve access to quality care and scale-up complex interventions. She holds an MPH in Global Epidemiology from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University.
