I currently attend the University of Maryland and am working towards a Communication major with an Art History minor. I am originally from Glasgow, Scotland, and moved to Maryland, USA in 2012. At the University of Maryland, I am Research Director of an on campus organization called Student Entertainment Events meaning I work to bring artists and other performers to the UMD campus. I also work as an equipment assistant at the Philip Merrill College of Journalism, where I get my hands on a lot of photography and film equipment. Outside of classes, I am interested in climbing, hiking, photography, and drawing. I also hope to travel a lot over the next few years, with particular focus on traveling around Europe. I have already travelled throughout Great Britain, France, Spain, Italy, Hungary, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Poland. Academically, I plan to work somewhere within the PR or marketing field.
