Luis Miguel Martinez is a professor and researcher at the departments of communication and engineering at Iberoamericana University in Mexico City, Mexico. He is also head of the Digital Convergence Program and head of Radio Ibero FM. Luis is a member of the advisory council for the National Institute of Telecommunications and a member of the executive board of the Mexican Chapter of the Internet Society. His expertise lies in instrumentation engineering, acoustical engineering, FM & HD radio, technology in indigenous communities, digital convergence, philosophy of technology, educational laboratories design, digital strategies, and educational engineering. Luis holds an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in industrial measurement systems from Brunel University, UK.
