Roland Guenther is head of transformation for the Digital Investment Platform of DWS, the listed asset management entity of Deutsche Bank. He joined Deutsche Bank Group in 2007, after stints at Citi and Accenture. He has worked in front office and control functions across corporate finance, markets, wealth and asset management and is interested in digital transformation including fintech, new asset classes, governance and risk topics. He has advised financial services companies on M&A and capital raising issues, structured exotic derivatives, managed operational excellence programs, acted as COO for one of the Group's United Kingdom legal entities and designed risk management frameworks. His current projects include an automation framework and a new governance and risk structure fit for a digital company. He serves as director for a United Kingdom community interest company in the art sector. He holds master's degrees in law and political science from the University of Salzburg. He is a Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar.
