One rainy October day when the calendar marked day 30th, I was born in Panama City, Panama as the first of three kids. Since then I have started this exciting journey of becoming a successful woman while also enjoying life to the fullest. While in high school, I did a lot extracurricular activities consisting mainly of being in different local soccer leagues and dancing ballet, tap and jazz till exhaustion. During summers, I would travel not only for leisure but also to gain cultural exposure. I took winter intensive courses in Lausanne, Switzerland and Amboise, France to learn French, though my French language skills are very basic.
My life became less sports-oriented when I decided to attend college in the U.S. I went to Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, TX and pursued a degree in Advertising and did two minors; one in Business and the other one in Sociology. While at SMU I became a strong, independent woman who began to have higher aspirations in life. And, that is when I decided to pursue a Master degree in Global Marketing Communications and Advertising at Emerson College. Soon after graduation, I will be working for an ad agency in Panama to gain experience in the field. My entrepreneurial spirit has pushed me to consider the possibilities to open my own business back home, while also becoming a novelist in my spare time.
