Zhang Qi is currently an associate professor at Shanghai International Studies University Law School. She has also served as a visiting research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law as well as a research fellow at the World Trade Institute of the University of Bern. Her research interests include international law, international economic law, WTO Law, as well as Chinese law and culture. Qi Zhang received a LL.B. in Economic Law from Shanghai Fu Dan University and a LL.M. from the University of Sheffield. She earned a Ph.D. in International Economic Law from Lancaster University and a doctor of Law from the University of Bern. She is a fellow of the Salzburg Global Seminar Session 438, China: The New Global Economic Engine.
