Poonam Barua is the founder and chairman of the Forum for Women in Leadership (WILL Forum), which is committed to the mission and mandate for leveraging the vast talent pool of women, sharing best practices for women in the workplace, and mentoring women in leadership. She is also the director of PAMASIA Global Corporate Advisory, an independent firm specializing in corporate and institutional diplomacy and building stakeholder leadership. Ms. Barua served as the regional director for India at The Conference Board (New York), based in New Delhi, leading the best business practice programs with corporate CEOs, HR leaders, CFOs, and board directors. She also served at the US Information Services in New Delhi as chief program specialist. Ms. Barua is a member of the IFC- World Bank Global Roundtable on Board Diversity and leads the "Women on Corporate Board Series" in India. She earned an M.A. in economics from Delhi University.
