Vice President, Europe & Eurasia, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Washington, DC

Peter S. Rashish is senior trade advisor at the Washington-based Transnational Strategy Group LLC, a non-resident senior fellow at the American Institute for Contemporary German Studies, and a senior advisor at the European Policy Centre in Brussels. He was previously vice president for Europe and Eurasia at the US Chamber of Commerce and senior advisor for Europe at McLarty Associates. He has also served as executive vice president of the European Institute, on the Paris-based staff of the International Energy Agency, and as a consultant to the World Bank, the German Marshall Fund of the United States, the Atlantic Council, the Bertelsmann Foundation, and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. Mr. Rashish has contributed commentaries to The New York Times, the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, Foreign Policy, and The National Interest, and he has made television appearances on PBS, CNBC, and CNN. He is a member of the International Institute for Strategic Studies and serves on the Advisory Board of the American Security Project. He earned a B.A. from Harvard College and an M.Phil. in international relations from Oxford University. He most recently served on the faculty of Session 491, The Future of the Multilateral Trading System and the World Trade Organization, in 2012.
