Oded Grajew is the president of the Ethos Institute of Business and Social Responsibility, and the chair of the board of directors for the Abrinq Foundation for Children’s Rights. He is also a member of the International Committee of the Council on Foundations from the US and the Advisory Board of the Council on Economic Priorities Accreditation Agency. Mr. Grajew founded, owned, and was president of a toy company. He was president of the Brazilian Association of Toy-Makers (1986-1992) and later, of the Latin American Federation of Toy-Makers (1990-1992), and of the Association of Businessmen for Citizenship (1995-1998). In all his activities, he works to mobilize businessmen and businesses to act in their workplaces, in their communities, and in the political field to promote socially responsible economic development. He sees resources and power not as an end but as a means to help and build a more just, democratic, and unified community. He majored in engineering and received his post-graduate degree in business administration. He is an alumnus of Salzburg Seminar Session 330, Building and Sustaining Democracies: The Role of Non-Governmental Organizations.
