Anne-Imelda Radice is the director of the Institute of Museum and Library Services in Washington, DC, a post she was appointed to in 2005 after having served as the acting assistant chairman for programs at the National Endowment for Humanities. An art and architecture historian, museum professional and administrator, Ms. Radice has held high ranking positions within the United States Department of Education; the Appeal to Conscience Foundation, New York; New River Media; and the National Endowment for the Arts. She holds a Ph.D. in art and architectural history from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, an M.B.A. from American University, and a B.A. in art history from Wheaton College, Massachusetts.
