Ayelet Giladi

Founder and Director of Voice of Child Association (VOCA), Israel

Ayelet is the founder and the CEO of Voice Of Child Association (VOCA). She is a pioneer and recognized expert on the abuse and harassment behavior of young children among themselves as a form of a play that develop to sexual harassment. VOCA developed three age program strategies for preventing violence, using emotional and social skills, family and community interventions, and addressing adverse such challenges such as teachers, parents, children and school management. Ayelet is the author of the book, Sexual Harassment: Not a Children's' Game - Preventing Sexual Harassment in the Educational System and the Community (2019). To meet the challenge of parenting in age where parental authority is being constantly challenged and the influence of internet and social media in pervasive, Ayelet has founded and directs the Parenthood Academy at NCJW at the Hebrew University.Previously she served as the General and Academic Director of Early Childhood Programs at the NCJW Research Institute Innovation in Education at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and was also the National HIPPY Director. She holds a doctorate in sociology education from ARU University, England and hold a bachelor degree and master degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Ayelet is a Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar.
