Benjamin Ehrlich is an independent writer and researcher based in New York City. He is a contributing editor to The Beautiful Brain, the digital magazine dedicated to neuroscience and art, and a participating member of NeuWrite, the collaborative working group for scientists and writers sponsored by Columbia University. He recently contributed writing and editing work to the popular psychology book Sensation: The New Science of Physical Intelligence (Atria Books, a division of Simon & Schuster, 2014). His translations from Café Chats (Charlas de café, 1921) were published in New England Review (33.1). He is currently developing a book about Ramón y Cajal and the discovery of the neuron. Mr. Ehrlich is a graduate of Middlebury College, where he earned highest honors in Literary Studies.
