Noah Hutton is an award-winning filmmaker and founder of The Beautiful Brain. He curated and participated in numerous exhibitions and symposia around the world, most recently serving as curator for the 2014 Impakt Festival in Utrecht, Netherlands, and as a featured speaker at the 2013 Venice Biennale symposium on neuroaesthetics. He created Brain City, a multi-platform project for the Times Square Arts Alliance in New York City, which featured a nightly journey through the brain on all the billboards of Times Square. His first feature-length film, Crude Independence, premiered at the 2009 SXSW Film Festival and won Best Documentary Feature at the 2009 Oxford Film Festival. He is working on a 15-year film about the Blue Brain Project, neuroscientist Henry Markram's quest to simulate an entire human brain on supercomputers. Mr. Hutton holds a degree in Art History and Neuroscience from Wesleyan University.
