American University of Beirut, Lebanon

I received my undergraduate degree in history from the University of Virginia in the US. After college, I worked as a researcher in the film library of National Geographic and as a video producer with UVA's "Presidential Recordings Program," producing videos relating to the Nixon White House tapes. I have a strong interest in footage archives and oral histories, and repurposing these for a modern-day audience. I am currently pursuing my master's degree in media at the American University of Beirut, and conducting oral history interviews with Lebanese documentary filmmakers who have directed films about the Civil War.
