Having acquired my Baccalaureate degree in Mass Communication and Videography from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata, I am currently pursuing my MA in Film Studies from Jadavpur University. I have been part of documentary and short film projects, variously as director, scriptwriter, cinematographer and editor. I have also worked as an intern in feature film productions and a television music channel. I have worked as actor and assistant in a youth theatre group. I am interested in music, films, literature, photography and travel. I have a keen interest in critical theories in the area of Film and Cultural Studies. I aim to pursue research and dissemination of film and cultural theories, as also working in multimedia projects aimed at research, record and documentation of social and cultural currents.
