Géza Egyed

Géza EGYED, Budapest Géza Egyed is the Hungarian state secretary for economic development in the Ministry of Economy and Transport in Budapest, where he previously served as deputy state secretary for European Union structural and cohesion fund issues. Prior to his work in national government, Mr. Egyed worked in several banks including West LB Hungaria Bank Plc, where he was co-chief executive officer and head of the treasury unit; ING Bank Rt, where he was head of the Money and Capital Marked Unit; and Postabank Plc, where he was head of the Currency Management Unit. Mr. Egyed holds an M.A. in economy from the Higher School for Economics in Berlin.
