Gail Imig is program director of Food Systems and Rural Development at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation of Battle Creek, Michigan. In this capacity, Dr. Imig is responsible for developing and reviewing programming priorities, evaluating and recommending funding proposals, and administering projects. Prior to joining the Foundation, she served as associate vice provost of Michigan State University and as director of the Michigan State University Extension. In these roles, chaired the National Extension Committee on Organization and Policy, and she served on the National Association of State Universities and the Land-Grant College Commission on Outreach and Technology Transfer. Dr. Imig earned her bachelors degree in home economics and biology education, her masters degree in family studies and sociology, and her doctoral degree in family ecology and administration, from Michigan State University.
