Yasmine Ibrahim

Yasmine is an accomplished expert of sixteen years in the field of Higher Education. She started her career in the Education USA Center services in Egypt, co-managing the Ford Foundation's International Fellowship Program (IFP). She later began her University-management career; gaining years of experience in graduate student services, outreach and recruitment, marketing, and managing several internally and externally funded graduate fellowships for key donors and foundations in the Middle East, Asia, and North America. Currently, Yasmine directs a key US-funded leadership program in Egypt that aims at shaping the region's future change agents; with a focus on leadership and civic engagement, gender awareness, and career and employability skills. She is passionate about the merge between education and development, and has completed a Master's degree in development studies, with a thesis title "Community Engagement and Civic Participation in Education: The Role of Education in Advancing Social Capital among Local Communities".
