Marcel Urayeneza

Marcel Urayeneza is a leadership programs manager at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation in Battle Creek, Michigan, USA. Marcel supports initiatives for thriving children, families, and equitable communities. As part of the DNA-Leadership Core Team, he supports the global fellows' network and orchestrates grantmaking and project management activities. Marcel joined the foundation in 2016 as an accounting analyst and subsequently a budget analyst. Prior to that, Marcel worked in fiscal management and public accounting fields for more than a decade, including roles at Ernst & Young and the Office of the Auditor General of Rwanda. Marcel also served on the boards of various non-profit organizations. Marcel speaks multiple languages and holds a master's degree in accounting and fiscal management from DeVry University in Chicago and a bachelor's degree in accounting from Adventist University of Central Africa, Rwanda. He is currently pursuing the Public Leadership Credential at the Harvard Kennedy School, USA.
