Judith Reichman

Bestselling author, Speaker, TV correspondent and Gynecologist, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, USA

Judith Reichman is a well-known physician in women's health. She trained in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Chicago and taught at the University of Tel Aviv Medical School. She led a large fertility clinic as well as an obstetrical department in hospitals in Tel Aviv. She has practiced and taught at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and UCLA for more than three decades. She specialized in hormone replacement therapy and has lectured extensively for women's conferences, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and The Woman's Governor Conference in multiple cities in the US. She was the correspondent on women's health for the NBC Today Show for over a decade and during this time she wrote about and addressed topics of women's health ranging from infertility, contraception, pregnancy, termination of pregnancy, menopause and general health issues in women of all ages. The audience for the broadcasts was estimated to be between 3 and 6 million viewers. Concomitant with her appearances she wrote a weekly website for NBC on subjects of women's health which she continued for years after she left the Today show. She is the author of four bestselling books, the most recent titled Slow Your Clock Down: The Complete Guide to a Healthy Younger You which was published by William Morrow. Dr. Reichman served as a trustee of Save The Children for 12 years and was active in selecting and sponsoring programs of healthcare for children and women throughout the world. She was a trustee of Planned Parenthood Los Angeles and wrote the protocol for the care of women who are menopausal for the organization. She has been a trustee of the Downtown Women's Center in Los Angeles. She is a member of the International Women's Forum. She continues to be active in organizations that promote dance in Los Angeles.
