Lisa R Johns is Vice President, Finance and Senior Program Officer of Hillman Family Foundations (HFF), which supports the diverse grantmaking and administrative functions of eighteen private constituent foundations associated with the Hillman family. In this capacity, she serves as Treasurer of the Henry L. Hillman Foundation, Hillman Foundation, Elsie H. Hillman Foundation, and Mary Hillman Jennings Foundation, whose missions are to improve the quality of life in Pittsburgh and southwestern Pennsylvania where HFF is based. HFF constituent foundations are also active in New York City; central New Hampshire; Boulder, Colorado; Portland, Oregon; and San Francisco, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles, California.
Since joining HFF more than 30 years ago, Lisa has been involved in numerous signature projects and initiatives that span multiple program areas including education, human services and workforce and most recently grant programs to support older adults. As Vice President Finance, Lisa oversees all facets of HFF's operations and has streamlined processes to manage HFF's annual giving which approximates $100 million.
Lisa currently serves on the advisory council for Age-Friendly Greater Pittsburgh, a founding member of Pittsburgh Scholar House, an education program to support single mothers and their children, and the finance committee of Grantmakers of Western Pennsylvania. She holds a bachelor's degree in accounting.
In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her two adult daughters Taylor and Carly and her two grandchildren, Henry and Hazel. She loves the outdoors and running and recently completed her first half marathon.
