Dr. Della Lin is a board member with the Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation. She is a practicing anesthesiologist in Honolulu and a leadership coach, with her own leadership career spanning over 3 decades. Dr. Lin hold an Associate Faculty appointment with Ariadne Labs, serves as faculty for the Institute for Health Care Improvement and was a Visiting Faculty with the Johns Hopkins Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality where she led cross-continuum community collaboratives. She was an inaugural patient safety leadership fellow with the National Patient Safety Foundation/American Hospital Association in 2002 and a Senior Fellow in Patient Safety Leadership with the Estes Park Institute for over 20 years. Dr. Lin is passionate and persistent about safeguarding humanism in health care, daring to dream, challenge and better the status quo. She invites others through safe platforms to share their voice and stories towards new and bold systems of care.
