Aqsa Suleman

Advocacy and Equalities Specialist, The Racial Equity Index, UK

Aqsa Suleman is an unapologetic, creative and community driven advocate for equity. She likes to embed equity and challenge oppressive systems through the use of tools including: project coordination, campaigns development and mobilization, advocacy, research, community organization and engagement to speak truth to power and demand justice. Aqsa currently works as a campaigns officer at Digital Action Now, a charity seeking to hold big tech to account and fighting for electoral integrity. She holds 4 years' experience across the public sector, working across policy and projects in areas including: fighting against domestic abuse, fighting to improve mental health experiences and outcomes as well as fighting to challenge and tackle systemic racism in society. Alongside her professional role, Aqsa serves as a trustee at mental health charity NSUN, and is a volunteer at a global racial justice collective seeking accountability in the international development sector, known as the Racial Equity Index.
