Kondwani Happy Ngoma is a PhD candidate in economic history at Gothenburg University's School of Business, Economics and Law in Sweden. Happy is originally from Zambia and is now based in Sweden where he teaches international business and financial history. His research examines the role and/or impact of business and state relations on public policy and eventual economic and political development of states and societies. He holds multiple MA degrees from the University of Glasgow, University of Barcelona and the University of Gottingen, with specialization in global markets and development. He has previously worked as a junior consultant, facilitator and team leader on projects aimed at addressing environmental inequalities, empowering people with disabilities and supporting business development in both emerging and developed countries.
