Riccardo Saccà is an external PhD fellow at Maastricht University and, starting February 2023, a candidate Seconded national expert at EMA in Amsterdam. In his roles, he researches forecasting in European Regulatory Science and supports the EU-Innovation Network. This includes providing scientific support via stakeholder interactions on early innovative developments, analyzing scientific and technological trends and communicating these within the EU Regulatory Network. Before joining these organizations, he also had a brief stint as a junior research fellow at the European Institute of Policy Research and Human Rights (EIPRHR). Riccardo holds a BA and master's degree in European public health from Maastricht University and a master in public policy and human development from the United Nations University - Maastricht Economic and Social Research Institute on Innovation and Technology (UNU-MERIT).
