Cherukéi Wobo

Policy and Advocacy Officer, Plan International, Belgium

Cherukéi Wobo is a policy and advocacy officer at Plan International EU Office in Brussels, Belgium. She is responsible for advocacy work within the framework of Plan International's global campaign on girls' rights and leadership, the organization of key events and activities in the EU sphere on children's rights and girls' rights, and the monitoring of EU policy updates on development cooperation, humanitarian action and gender. Cherukéi is passionate about human rights, conflict & security, humanitarian affairs and development aid. She has a multi-disciplinary background, holding a MSc in conflict resolution and governance from the University of Amsterdam, and an LLM in law and politics of international security and BSc in politics science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She has previously worked for various non-profit organizations related to human rights, aid, education and diversity.
