Chidinma Chikwe

Master's Student, University of Lodz, Poland

Chidinma Chikwe is currently a master's student at the University of Lodz. She is a project management and development professional passionate about advancing women's rights, gender equality, child protection and the prevention and response to gender-based violence. She is pursuing a master's degree in women's and gender studies under the Erasmus Mundus Programme and holds an undergraduate degree in international studies and diplomacy. Before moving to Europe, Chidinma worked in Nigeria's impact sector, managing small-to-medium-sized projects. In 2020, she participated in an EU/UN Spotlight Initiative to end violence project and was one of 25 UN Women Nigeria Young Leaders under the "March Women's Shadowing Scheme." Her previous roles solidified her interest in policy advocacy and participatory mobilization, emphasizing how public policy affects the lived reality of vulnerable people, specifically women, children, and survivors. Since moving to Europe, she has worked in various capacities with AIESEC and Erasmus Mundus Association.
