Tobiloba Osogbiye

Student Experience and Engagement Officer, The University of Birmingham, UK

Tobiloba Osogbiye is a multilingual change enthusiast who holds a Bachelor's degree in European Languages and a Master's in International Relations and Diplomacy. She has worked with charities and NGOs to deliver impactful policy changes through successful grassroots campaigns. Previously as the University of Birmingham student union President, Tobiloba led projects and campaigns focused on improving the experience of over 38,000 students. In this role, she championed diversity, inclusion and student participation in higher education policy-making. Tobiloba's time as the Public Affairs and Engagement Officer at the National Youth Advocacy Service, saw her working to influence government policies across England and Wales by advocating on behalf of care-experienced children and young people. She continues to support the youth through development opportunities and social activities in her current role as a student experience officer at the University of Birmingham and her communications role at the Young Africa Centre. When Tobiloba is not lobbying key stakeholders or championing young voices, she is learning a new language, writing music, or enjoying a good Netflix binge.
