Tené Adero Howard is a Guyanese-born, life-long Brooklynite and currently lives in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. She is a feminist and a human rights and social justice education practitioner, who has worked with youth in New York City and internationally for the last 20 years. She has held roles at K-12 schools, and non profit organizations and received a masters in International Educational Development at Columbia University and a bachelors in sociology from Amherst College. Since March 2020, she has run Sadie Nash Leadership Project, a US based non profit whose mission is to strengthen, empower and equip young women and gender expansive youth of color to be agents of change in their lives and the world.
