Valeriia Chernysh is the program associate, education for the Salzburg Global Center for Education Transformation and a Program Associate for the Salzburg Academy on Media and Global Change 2023, based in Salzburg, Austria. She researches diverse topics for the Salzburg Global Center for Education Transformation programs, provides administrative and operational support, and assists with the execution of programs. Valeriia is interested in education, community engagement and leadership development. Before joining Salzburg Global, she worked as an English teacher. She also was a vice president of outgoing professional internships for a non-for-profit organization called AIESEC in Kyiv. She was involved in managing and organizing internships for the organization, focusing on facilitating professional experiences for individuals seeking work or education opportunities abroad. She holds a bachelor's degree in Slavic (Polish and Ukrainian) languages and literature, translation from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
