Anna Hall is an Executive Producer and Director of the Future Rising Climate Initiative at Girl Rising, a program that seeks to drive investment towards girls' education and to harness the power of educated girls to tackle the effects of climate change. She has more than fifteen years of experience as a producer, writer and educator working across all mediums to creating change through storytelling. This includes work in digital, video, animation, print, live events and theater. She is the former Co-Executive Producer of Tina Brown's Women in the World Summits at Lincoln Center, former Executive Producer of the American Justice Summits, and a former Curator and Producer for the Future of Storytelling, Tribeca Film Festival, Sesame Workshop, The Washington Post, Vice News, The Daily Beast, The World Science Festival, MoMA and Disney Imagineering. She holds a Master's degree in English Literature and Film/TV from The University of Glasgow and an MFA in Screenwriting from Columbia University School of the Arts. She is a fellow of the MacDowell Colony and Yaddo and lives in New York City with one daughter, one husband, two cats and one dog.
