Jacopo holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics, with a specialization in Public Policies and International Institutions from the Luigi Bocconi University in Milan (2004). He worked as an adviser in the cabinet of the Vice President of the European Parliament (2005) and was responsible for lobbying for the Confederation of Italian Industry in the EU (2006). Jacopo worked as a Specialist for the European Union's International Policy Cooperation at the Italian Embassy in Belgrade (2007-2008) and since 2008 has worked at AVSI Brasil, coordinating projects in the area of human rights, social corporate responsibility, urban and environmental development, education and employability. In 2015, Jacopo assumed the position of Vice President in AVSI. Since 2010, he has been the focal point for AVSI projects linked to the promotion of human rights for people deprived of liberty in Latin America, mainly in Brazil, but also in Costa Rica, Chile, Paraguay, Ecuador and Mexico. Jacopo is a Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar.
