Catherine Baine-Omugisha is a Conflict Mitigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Advocate. She is the Managing Advocate of Baine-Omugisha Legal Consultants and Advocates, which is a Conflict Mitigation and ADR Centered Law Firm. Catherine has previously served as a part time Family and Criminal Law Practice Lecturer at the Law Development Centre, Kampala; as a Family and Criminal Justice Technical Advisor to the Justice Law and Order Sector, Uganda and as a Magistrate in the Judiciary, Uganda. She holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Laws Degree, a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and a Fellowship in Arbitration. Catherine also holds a Certificate in Advanced Mediation and she is about to conclude her Post Graduate Diploma in Peace Building and Conflict Transformation. Catherine is a Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar.
