Nontsikelelo (Tsiki) is a black woman activist & Head of Province: Western Cape at Equal Education. She has been at EE since 2009; first as an Equaliser (a high school learner), then a volunteer facilitator and now leads the largest EE organising team.Tsiki fights for socio-economic justice for the marginalised and she is a member of the Khayelitsha Community Action Network, and different community based social movements.
She has achieved significant milestones, including leading protests and campaigns that resulted in Equal Education taking the DBE to court about the school feeding scheme. Tsiki is a Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar.
