Damilola Adeniran

International Support Specialist on Digital Transformation, ctrl QS, Germany

Damilola Adeniran is a policy professional working as international support specialist on digital transformation at ctrl QS, Germany. He holds a master of public policy with a focus on digitalization, job creation, gender, migration, and sustainable peace. Damilola is the first Nigerian to win the World Bank blog4dev competition; a former Paradigm Initiative Digital Rights and Inclusion Fellow; and also a recipient of a PeaceWriteNow prize from the Government of Ireland. Over the years, he has carried out policy initiatives/projects with organizations in Nigeria, Germany, Belgium, and USA including the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy, ONE Campaign, World Bank, Africa-Europe Foundation, the International Organization for Migration, European Council on Refugees and Exiles, European Centre for Youth Education, and the Africa Centre for Economic Transformation. Recently, he co-founded a youth-to-youth mentorship platform and serves as focal point to improve the participation of young Africans in accessing international opportunities in policy and development.
