Nourhan Yehia

Architect, Egypt

Nourhan Yehia is an architect who graduated from October University for Modern Sciences and Arts. She is experienced in manual drafting and rendering of design drawings. She enjoys working on large-scale projects, including urban planning and design and landscape design. Nourhan has completed internships at Sabbour Consulting and Marakez. Her passion for history, culture, sustainable living, and anthropology is what led her to this field of study and career. Her love and practice of art play a huge role in the formation of her designs. She recently took part in the UNDP Youth Futures Fellowship, basing her final project on the importance of parks and public spaces, along with other fellows. She is currently working on this project as part of the Emerging Urban Leaders Fellowship, organized by Salzburg Global Seminar and World Urban Parks. She gained participatory and futures thinking strategies that can be used in her field of expertise. Nourhan was also selected to participate in an expert panel with the UNDP innovation team, discussing the future of inclusive, next-generation cities. She is eager to learn more about different topics outside her field of study and gain new skills.
