Najia Humayun

Student, Berkeley Law, USA

Najia Humayun is a rising 3L at Berkeley Law. She is passionate about using legal practice and theory to challenge the injustices of the U.S. criminal legal system. During her 2L year she externed at the Conasauga Public Defender's Office in her hometown of Dalton, GA. At Berkeley Law, she has served Articles Editor for the California Law Review, Submissions Editor for the Berkeley Journal of International Law, co-president of the Berkeley Law Muslim Student Association, co-president of the South Asian Law Student Association, and external communications chair for the Women of Color Collective. Najia is a Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar.
