Patricia Vazquez

Founder and CEO, CRUYUU, Mexico

Patricia Vasquez is director of international cooperation at Radix Education and an independent international consultant in education for research institutions and civil organizations on topics such as public policies, empowerment, social gaps and poverty. She is a former board member of the National Institute for Evaluation in Education (INEE) and Former Minister of Public Education in the State of Puebla, Mexico. Patricia has more than 15 years of experience in implementing policies and projects for international organizations such as UNESCO and other Latin-American institutions. She has been a Global Play Ambassador for Lego Foundation since 2018 and a member of governing boards for organizations that search for better opportunities for girls and boys in vulnerable situations. She is a member of several networks including Women for Education and she is the co-founder of the Global Online Learning Alliance (GOLA). In the academic field, Patricia has several publications and academic articles. She is a Fellow of the Salzburg Global Seminar's education program. Patricia is currently a part-time student at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) in the master's program on international education policy. Born in Mexico City, Patricia has a bachelor's degree in pedagogy from Universidad Panamericana (UP), diplomas in public policies for social development and global governance, and a master's degree in comparative public policies by the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO).
