Nanthalile Mugala is country director for the PATH Zambia Office in Lusaka. PATH is an international organization that drives transformative innovation to save lives and improve health, especially among women and children. In this capacity, Nanthalile oversees the operations of the PATH country office and serves as liaison between PATH Zambia, PATH HQ and other relevant national level ministries, donor and partner communities. She has over 20 years’ experience in implementing programs and services related to HIV, malaria, reproductive health, child health and new born health and nutrition. This experience encompasses everything from service provision, programming, and management to the provision of technical assistance and research activities. Prior to joining public health over 10 years ago, she worked as a consultant pediatrician at a large tertiary hospital. She has served as president of the National Pediatric Association and is currently a member of the Ministry of Health Research Advisory Committee. Nanthalile earned an M.A. in pediatrics from the University of Zambia and a certificate in epidemiology and biostatics from the Institute of Tropical Medicine, Antwerp, Belgium. She is a Fellow of Salzburg Global.
