As an Afri-Futurist, Dr. Katindi Sivi considers it her life's mission to develop foresight research, analysis, strategies and trainings for African governments, organizations, professionals, and local communities. Her foresight work is anchored on the must have 21st century competencies like critical thinking, complex systems approaches and problem solving skills, cultural modelling, creativity, and collaboration. Dr. Sivi is also considered one of Africa's top six female futurists. She is the founder of Kenya's premier strategic foresight organizations, LongView Consult and LongView Futures Foundation. She is also the principle trainer at the Africa Foresight Lab, a program she set up to increase the number of leaders and organizations with foresight skills on the continent, while empowering them to shape their spheres of influence. Dr. Sivi has a PhD in Strategic Foresight from Regent University. She is also an adjunct lecturer at Strathmore University and International Leadership University- both in Kenya. Dr. Katindi Sivi is a Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar.
