Diego Malpede

Diego Malpede, Diplomat, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Argentina, Buenos Aires

Diego Malpede is a member of the Foreign Service of Argentina. In the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he worked extensively in legal, security and global environmental negotiations. He was posted at the Permanent Missions of Argentina to the UN and international organizations in Geneva and New York. He was a member of the cabinet of the 63rd United Nations General Assembly President. He was a research assistant for the Initiative on Science and Technology for Sustainability (ISTS), in the Belfer Center of Science and International Affairs of the Kennedy School, and joined the staff of the Third World Academy of Sciences (Trieste, Italy). He currently lives in Buenos Aires and works in the Directorate for Western Europe at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Mr. Malpede holds a law degree from the University of Buenos Aires and an M.A. in Public Adminsitration from the Kennedy School of Government of Harvard University.
