Chanel Bell

Chanel Bell is the program associate for the Mellon-Global Citizenship Program (M-GCP) and is based in California, USA. Prior to taking on this role in August 2014, Chanel was a participant in ISP 43 in 2011 which involved eighteen Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Appalachian College Association members. She returned to Salzburg as an intern for the International Study Program on Global Citizenship in 2012, and later worked in the Washington, DC office of Salzburg Global Seminar as an assistant to the development team. Outside of her role with Salzburg Global, this summer she spent two months volunteering in northern Peru teaching English and sports. Chanel graduated from Howard University with her B.A. in sociology. Currently, she is pursuing a Master's of public administration (MPA) at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, CA, USA.
