Paul G. Haaga

Former Chairman of the Board, Capital Research and Management Company and National Public Radio, USA

Paul G. Haaga Jr. is the inaugural Chair of the Oversight Board Trust, an independent organization established in 2020 as part of the self-regulatory process for content policies at Facebook. He was Chair of the Board of NPR (National Public Radio) from November 2017 to September 2020 and served as its acting President and CEO from September 2013 to July 2014. Paul currently serves as Vice Chair of the NPR Foundation and is also a Trustee of Princeton. He retired in 2012 as Chair of the Board of Capital Research and Management Company. He earned a Bachelor's degree in economics from Princeton University, an M.B.A. from the Wharton School, and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He is co-teaching a course on Conservative Legal Theory at Penn Carey Law School in Spring 2021.
