Pete Fredlake [Resource Specialist] is director of the Teacher Education and Special Programs at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, Washington, DC. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum is America's national institution for the documentation, study, and interpretation of Holocaust history, and serves as the US memorial to the millions of people murdered during the Holocaust. In his current position, Mr. Fredlake directs the professional development programs in Holocaust education for teachers in the United States and around the world, including training for pre-service teachers, for teachers new to the subject, and for veteran teachers of the Holocaust. Before joining the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in July 2005, Mr. Fredlake taught secondary school English for thirty years in Arizona.
