Keshav Kumar Jha

Assistant Manager (Energy & Climate), ICLEI South Asia, India

Keshav Jha is working as an assistant manager of Energy & Climate at ICLEI South Asia. He previously had been engaged and worked with organizations like the World Wildlife Fund in India, Tehri Hydro Development Corporation Ltd., Toxic's Link, Delhi Greens, One Earth Financial LLC an environmental community in the US, and Planet Conservation in Costa Rica. He is an energy and climate change professional with a results-oriented, dynamic, proven track record of building and working in calculated partnerships to bring change for a more sustainable world. He has rich experience in emerging markets across Climate Change and Energy with deep insights on South Asian and South East Asian countries. Since 2011, he has been working with various cities and towns in India and South Asia under multiple projects on the theme of low carbon climate resilient development funded by diverse donors such as the British High Commission, USAID, the WWF, European Commission, and Rockefeller Foundation. He holds a master's degree in environmental studies from the University of Delhi, a postgraduate diploma course in environmental law & management from the Indian Law Institute, and an appreciation program in sustainability sciences. He is a Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar, most recently he attended Session Session 591, The Asia We Want: A Clean and Green Asia, in 2017
